Racquet Sports Complex

Our new state of art Racquet Sports Complex facility, recently renovated courts feature 21 courts with new play lines, nets, benches and with each court, provides an overhead, shaded canopy with court screens throughout the facility, with each court providing lights for evening play.

Reserve a Court

Reservation Information

The courts can be reserved for individual, daily use or for matches and large tournaments. The shaded bleachers and water fountain provide a relaxing break during energetic competitions and/or during special events

Cost:

• MDC Students and Employees FREE with validation of college enrollment and employment.
• Community $5.00 per hour per person, per court. Max 2 hours.

Courts:

• Tennis Courts: 9 asphalt court lined with competitive new play lines.
• Pickleball Courts: 14 courts offering fun and non-stop action of the new racquet sport: pickle ball craze-popularity.

Reservations are available online only 72 hours prior at 7 am. There is a 24-hour Cancellation Policy. No children under 7 are permitted.

MDC students and employee must show an MDC ID to verify court play. The name on the MDC ID must match the court reservation.

For community reservations, the zip code must match the credit card address. Verifications will be sent via email and/or phone.

Eligibility

• Open to students, employees and community members with valid MDID and reservations.
• Validate: kendallracquetsports.edu
• The player booking the court is responsible for payment of all participants.
• All players must sign a waiver of liability to use the courts.
• No back-to-back reservations allowed.

Attire

• Only athletic shoes, no open toe, hard sole shoes or crocs permitted.
• Shirts to be worn at all times.
• Court Rules / All Players
• Only players on the courts.
• All players must check in at the entrance before using the courts.
• No private lessons or classes.
• No play when courts are wet or in case of lightning, evacuate courts and seek shelter.
• Management and staff authorize court credits. Solely when weather ailments affect safety of play.

Cleanliness & Maintenance

• Dispose of gum and all trash.
• No food or drinks. ONLY water/sports drinks.
• SharkFit Recreation and maintenance personnel can close courts as necessary.
• Immediately report damaged equipment, do not attempt to adjust nets, any concerns notify Racquet Sports Complex staff @ 305-237-2880.
• For Emergencies call 911 or Public Safety @ 305-237-2100.

Respect Others

• No crossing of courts during play.
• Adhere to start and end play times.
• No cursing, screaming or loud music.

Absolutely No

• Alcoholic beverages.
• Bikes, stroller’s, roller blades, skateboards, or scooters.
• Non-service pets on courts.
