Ivan Fernandez is the Director, Payment Sales at Google Cloud. He was previously the head of sales for Amazon Web Services (AWS) in South Florida.  He has been with AWS since 2015 working and living in Houston, New York and now Miami.  Ivan started at AWS in the consulting team leading many of our early, significant engagements at well established, international companies. From there he moved into the financial services sales team and ran four of our large FinTech global accounts.  In early 2020, Ivan took over the South Florida sales team to lead and build that AWS business.

Prior to AWS Ivan spent almost 14 years at EMC, a global technology company.  At EMC he held various leadership roles in the consulting group in Boston, New York and London. Prior to that he was a technology developer and consultant in New York and Boston.  Ivan graduated from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts.  He was born in the US, son of Cuban immigrants. He has been married since 2007 and he is a proud father of a daughter.
