Florida TEACH grants are available for Early Childhood students. This grant is offered through the Children’s Forum to students who are employed at early childhood centers. To be eligible, students must obtain the approval of their employers for release time to complete courses. For each year that monies are received through the grant, there is a one-year commitment to remain and teach at that center.

Federal TEACH grants are available for baccalaureate students by contacting the Financial Aid Office at your campus. This grant requires a commitment of years teaching in a Title I school in a critical shortage area that corresponds to the number of years that the students receives the grant. Grants of up to $4,000 per year are awarded. If the teaching commitment is not fulfilled, the grant reverts to a loan that the student must repay.
