Intel® AI for Workforce Program
AI for Workforce prepares current and future workers with key Artificial Intelligence (AI) skills. Intel provides community college faculty with over 1,000 hours of AI content, including pre-packed courses. In addition, Intel offers professional training for faculty and implementation guidance. Community colleges use this content to develop AI certificates, augment existing courses, or launch full AI degree programs for students. AI for Workforce was launched in the United States in 2020 through partnerships with governments and community colleges, and currently, over 116 colleges in 41 states are in the program.
What does Intel provide?
- Over 1,000 hours of content, including 11 pre-packed courses with assignments, quizzes, and lab activities. The content is also available in a modular format that is flexible to map to institutions' needs.
- Ongoing peer support network for college faculty.
- Train-the-trainer model delivery for community college faculty with ongoing technical support for lead faculty from Intel.
- Applied AI skills covering key domains like Statistical Data (SD), Natural Language Processing (NLP), and Computer Vision (CV) across industry verticals like Manufacturing, Cybersecurity, and industrywide emerging horizontal skills like Sustainability and Applied Ethics. Includes multiple industry use cases incorporating the latest technology trends and practical application projects.
